Happy Birthday Nissa bug!

Happy Birthday to my sweet niece Nissa! She is 4 years old today! My the time has flown by! We are so happy she is part of our family! We love our little bubble of energy!

Happy Anniversary!

Today I have been married for 1 year to the most amazing man ever! I am so thankful to be sealed for Time and all Eternity to my best friend! I love you Matt!!

Happy Birthday Dadd-io!

Today my dad turned 50! I am so thankful for my DAD! He is truly amazing! He means the world to me and I don't know where I would be without him! He is always there to life me up when I have needed him the most. He makes you laugh when you don't even feel like smiling! He has such a wonderful strong testimony of this Gospel and so much love for so many people. He is such a wonderful father, poppa, husband and friend!

Disneyland and Fall time

Summer flew by very fast! I love summer! But I love the transition into fall. The leaves turn from green to reds, yellows, and oranges. Its simply Beautiful! I love spending time with the family. We sure did some fun things this fall! I was asked to help with Super Saturday. Boy was the stressful but quite the adventure!

Gabi and I have been spending a lot of time together. We have become the best of friends. I sure do love the spunky little thing!

I have been super busy lately.. I nanny twin 5 year old boys. And boy has it been an adventure!

A week before Disneyland my sister Elissa and her 2 beautiful girls came out to Utah. Nissa was Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween and so we had this red wig. Cute little Kat didn't mind it at all!

This was Matt's first time in Disneyland.. When he saw Mater he was so excited and wanted to get a picture with him. It was the cutest thing!

I love this little baby, Kat. She is such a happy baby and she loved Disneyland.. Especially all the yummy treats!

Summer 2010

This Summer has been such a BLAST! A lot has happened. My family lost 2 animals, gained 1, I took a visit to Denver, My sister Elissa came to Utah, I experienced Lake Powell for the first time.. and it was AMAZING! (I will post some of those pictures later) It was just a fun summer! We went boating at Utah lake a LOT! Tubing is still my favorite! Me and baby Kat!

Linkin

Lately my posts have been sad.. well here is another one. Everything has gone wrong at the Geddes household for the past month and a half. Death of the goat, close friends becoming ill and now Linkin, the lovable family dog was put down today. He had found anti freeze somewhere. We took him into the vet after it was too late. His nerves and Immune system were completely destroyed. He was such an amazing lovable dog. He always put up with all the nieces and nephew. He was the best greeter. He only ran to the front of my moms house when he heard my big blue truck. He was just such a happy dog! He will truly be missed! We loved him so much!!

Sad...

So shortly after i had updated my blog about the goat I got a phone call from my dad.. Something was wrong with the goat. She was bloated from eating to many weeds. My dad tried everything he could. She died. I feel horrible. I had called the guy whom we got her from and he said " Well she will either live or die.. nothing i can do." He was a jerk! Well i got a call from my dad.. the goat had died.. I felt so bad!I was then thinking about every gift I have gotten for my dad... fish for his aquarium.. they all have died! So i think i am done getting live things for birthdays or fathers day. And to top it all off.. it is my Aunt Cathy's birthday today. I love her and miss her so much its unbelievable! She meant the world to me! I was truly blessed to have her apart of my life!

The Goat!

So Father's Day was about a month ago right.. well all during the Month of May I was trying so hard to think of what I should get my dad! When finally i remembered how much my Dad has always wanted a goat! So Matt and I started to look on awesome KSL. We came across a guy that sells goats. We went to go check out the baby goats! And we finally picked one out! She wasn't ready to go for another couple weeks. The guy let us take the goat home for a couple hours just to show my dad his gift! My dad had the biggest grin on his face! He loved her!

So we finally got to bring the adorable goat home! She loves to eat just the little flowers off all the weeds. She still does not have a name picked out! But my DAD loves her!

My Aunt Cathy

Two years ago to best friend passed away. My Aunt Cathy. She was a wonderful woman. She was sick for many many years and not once did I hear her complain. She loved everyone. She loved animals so much. She Loved to cook, and that is where I got my passion for cooking, from my Aunt Cathy. She was always a happy person. Nice to everyone. My fondest memories of My Aunt Cathy are going out to Colorado and helping her with her catering business and working at Gold Tooth Annies. ( People would drive miles just to go eat the yummy home cooking.) I loved to be on her farm. There were horses, dogs, chickens, and cats. She loved to spoil us nieces and nephews. Her and I always wrote back and forth from Colorado and Utah. She would send me stamps just so she would get a letter back. She was very talented. She would paint the most beautiful paintings. She decorated Gold Tooth Annies with them. I wish I had at least one. She spent her last Christmas at our house. I remember just looking at her Christmas mornings with tears of joy streaming down her face. I asked what was wrong and she replied, "I have never seen kids open presents on Christmas morning. It is just wonderful!" She had given all of the nieces a piece of her jewelry. I received the most beautiful pearls from China and I wear they often. My Aunt Cathy wasn't here for my wedding but I could feel her close by every second of that beautiful day! I love my Aunt Cathy so much! I miss her so much! I cannot wait to see her again!

Summer Sun!

The whole family together! Baby Kat was blessed here in Utah. It was so fun to have everyone around!

We played outside and tried to fly kites. I love Nissa's outfit.. Typical everyday wear for Nissi!

While they were here we went to the Zoo. My favorite was the adorable baby elephant!

On Memorial Day after our fun camping trip we went to my parents for a little BBQ. It was so fun to have Elissa and her sweet little family in town. But my parents pool is not done.. it is just a big hole in the ground with the pipes. Well I had the clever idea of filling it up with water and having a mud war. Gabi, Michelle, and Nissa had the times of their lives!

Over Memorial weekend Matt and I went up to His cabin for the weekend! We fished and rode 4 wheelers! Matt caught me a super yummy fish..creepy looking but YUMMY! We also decided it would be fun to take the doggies! There is a stream that runs along side the cabin. I saw Tank and Zilla wandering... Next thing I know Zilla ia bobbing up and down floating down stream! She was afraid of the water the rest of the time!

Happy Mother's Day!

My Mom means the World to me! I love her so much! I don't know where I would be with out her! She is so Beautiful! She has the most amazing Testimony and love for the Gospel! She has taught me so much! Thank you Mom! I love you!!

The great visit to Denver

I went to visit Elissa and her adorable family in Denver. We had so much fun shopping, sewing, and just hanging out. My nieces are the cutest little girls!Kat and I!
