I got the epidural. it wasnt bad at all. It made me super loopy. I was so excited, nervous, and anxious. the long awaited babies were about to be here. Matt and I were about to be parents. Baby A came out-Vivianne. Everyone gasped because of all her hair. Tears ran down my cheeks as I heard her cry. Matt and i were both taken over by emotion. Then a minute later Baby B-Edith. I heard a little cry and Matt bends down and whispers.."I don't think that's my baby!" she was as bald as can be. They measured and checked both babies out. Edith was taken into a room just to make sure she was breathing ok. After all three of us were ready they handed me both babies. I was a MOM! They wheeled us into the room. My parents, matt's parents and my aunt Laura were all there. There was so much love. The spirit was so strong and we were so blessed with these sweet little angels.
We had non stop visitors that day. Matt was happy and just calm. I was super sick and couldnt even keep ice chips down from the anesthesia. We stayed at the hospital 4 nights. I was so ready to come home! These little babes have been quite the adjustment but in a good way. I wouldn't change anything! I have loved being a mom and watching Matt be a Dad.
| Not a lot of people saw this picture but this was our first picture together. I was very loopy and a little out of it. But oh it was a beautiful moment. |
