March has been crazy crazy BUSY! First off.. I got a new full time job.. and I LOVE IT! Its so so much fun! I work at Utah's Best Vacation Rentals. I am the receptionist/secretary/assistant. It was such a big big blessing. In February I had another ectopic pregnancy. It was really hard to deal with I just needed to try to stay busy to keep my mind off things. I got a call from my boss. He had found me on a nannying website. I went in to meet with him and he wanted me to start right then and there. It has been quite an adjustment. But Matt and I are truly blessed.



Sweet little Nissa was in town. We baked a lot!! We made a cute owl cake for Kat's 1st birthday! Nissa just loved licking the powder sugar. Funny little bug!

So I have been in the sewing mood. I was looking through the bins and bins of my moms fabric. I came across this fabric.. ha ha If any of you remember it was the fabric that was in my room. I wanted a cute spring skirt and this is what I created!

Kat! I love her so much! She is seriously talking so much! She is almost walking but still loves to crawl!

My mom LOVES books! She is always buying there. Well she bought one from Market Square and well.. It was in Spanish. Matt served a mission in Brazil and speaks Portuguese and has picked up Spanish. Nissa was so sweet and wanted Uncle Matt to read it to her. It was so funny. You could just hear them giggling!

My sister Alex had her little girl on March 22nd. Kristiina Marie is so BEAUTIFUL! She has so much hair! She is just a little bundle of Joy! She was healthy and is just so perfect!

Big Brother Zeke. I was able to watch him a lot while his parents and baby "seester" were still at the hospital. Congrats Alex, Brandon, and Zeke!

Cakes!

Ever since I was a young girl I have always wanted my own cake shop! My wonderful Aunt Cathy lived in Colorado and owned a restaurant and many little catering businesses. Since I was 7 years old I would fly out there to go see her and help her. I loved being there in the kitchen making her home cooked meals and serving the customers. I miss her so much. So lately I have taken up fondant and cakes! I LOVE IT! Its such a relaxing stress reliever! I had made an owl cake for my Kat's first Birthday It was a hit! My aunt Laura showed a friend the picture and they wanted it for a baby shower! So here it is!

The feathers are my favorite part. I had put them all on the wings and my husband wanted to add detail. It was so sweet and cute! Its hard to see in the picture but he detailed every feather!

The Minion Cake!! A lady I work with wanted this cake for her Husbands Birthday. She had called and told me that they still have not eaten it. He wants to keep it forever!

So lately I have just been Cake crazy! I love to do it! Its a nice fun stress reliever and sorta relaxing. I have always wanted my own cake shop, well this is the closest I might get to that! This is the prego cake! My friend Jill is having a baby and this is the cake for her baby shower! She is having a little bundle of BOY!
